The Annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. www.tulipfestival.org. Both Roozengaarde and
Tulip Town of Skagit Valley buy wholesale bulbs from the Washington Bulb Company whose
fields are pictured in many photos. The Washington Bulb Company is the largest wholesale
tulip manufacturer in the U.S.
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival takes place the first 2-3 weeks in April. Every year, the colors
are arranged a little differently. The flower beds are always well planned and a delight to
the eyes. The green fields in front of the 3 barns in the distance, are typically painted
with a rainbow of changing colors row after row.
